Blues and Brews

Telluride Blues & Brews 2024

SEPTEMBER 13-15, 2024
TELLURIDE, CO

THE SHORT VERSION

High quality beer meets high-octane music in a high-altitude setting

If you thought Telluride was just a ski town, think again. Autumn in Colorado means mountain biking, food trucks and outdoor yoga — all part of the experience at Telluride Blues & Brews Festival. Over the past three decades, the festival has hosted rock and blues music greats like ZZ Top, Ceelo Green, and John Mayer. Ben Harper, Tab Benoit, and Neal Francis will headline the annual event this year.

As expected, the beer bar’s high in a state with so many breweries. You’ll taste the best of the best from their Brewer’s Showcase, a craft beer paradise with offerings from Sierra Nevada, 4 Noses, and Ex Novo, among others. At 8,700 feet of altitude, those IPAs will get you laughing quick, at which point you can head over to the stand-up comedy stage for a set from the likes of Troy Walker, Jackie Kashian and more. Between the Main Stage, Blues Stage, Campground Stage, and a smattering of local juke joints partnering with the festival, the only blues for miles will be on stage.
