THIS FESTIVAL HAS BEEN CANCELLED
Food isn’t the first thing you think of when you think of Huntington Beach, but, after Taste of Huntington Beach, you might think differently. The food and drink festival takes over the Huntington Beach Central Park Sports Complex to exhibit regional wineries, local breweries, and around 50 local restaurants. This is California, so you can expect seafood, lots of fusion cuisines, and beers with names like Hoparazzi. Each of the vendors compete for the best dish or drink. Hopararzzi took the 2019 prize for best beer. Dishes like Tuna Poke tacos with watermelon, radish and sea Beans, Mini Banh Mi Tacos, and Panko Crusted Wild Caught Alaskan Halibut won awards that year, too. All inclusive tickets for this single-day festival go for only $70. It’s outdoors, there’s live music, and proceeds go to The Friends of Children’s Library. If you happen to be in town, Taste of Huntington Beach is a great way to spend a Saturday.
