Every spring, Panama City Beach is host to the Seabreeze Jazz Festival, which is widely considered one of the nation’s best celebrations of jazz. With a single, huge stage and a lineup of both locally and nationally known artists, over 20,000 people from across the country — and even across the pond — come to Florida for five days every April. This year, you can expect smooth saxophone, funky soul music, and everything in between with artists like Boney James and The Jacksons.
Of course, Seabreeze Jazz Festival is incomplete without the sea. One of the festival’s biggest attractions — second only to the lineup — is its cruise offerings, which brings jazz straight into the water. The festival has both dinner and brunch cruise options, respectively hosted by Michael Lington and Peter White, perfect for a date night or a relaxing start to the day.
Night owls shouldn’t worry, either. Seabreeze offers after party performances nearly every night at Pompano Joe’s Seafood House. At this festival, the jazz doesn’t end when the day does.
