The beer stars align for the Orlando Beer Festival. By that we mean, it’s got everything a good beer festival needs: over 50 breweries serving approximately 200 different beers, unlimited samples of that beer, a large, inflatable screen playing whatever college football game is on that weekend, a dog play zone, lots of free distillery swag, live music, and games big enough for adults. Even amateur wrestling matches have taken place on these festival grounds. This isn’t a tailgate, but Orlando Beer Festival does take advantage of the mild Florida Fall and brings the party outside in The Milk District, a local cultural center full of trendy stores and bars. For those that aren’t into beer, there’s a wine tasting and many food trucks. Orlandoans love this festival, so get here early or a bit later in the day — the line to get in gets very long very fast when the festival gates open. Yes, pets are allowed here, but those under 21 are not. Maybe don’t try to bring your cat, either.
