Ready to get high? Of course, we are. Picnic chairs, bright-colored blankets, and thousands of people holding the most unique bongs fill the grass at the National Cannabis Festival, which commemorates the legalization of cannabis and brings together cannabis lovers from all over the country. Starting in 2016, this festival has grown as the legalization of cannabis reaches more and more states and territories.
The National Cannabis Festival hosts educational workshops and discussions at their Culture Pavillon and Grow School, where you can learn more about cannabis, its policy, and its responsible usage. The schedule for these discussions is yet to be released, but in previous years topics ranged from crypto and cannabis to marijuana in midterm elections. When the weed finally hits, you can try some munchies, like funnel cakes from Lattimore’s and soulfood from Soulific Seafood, at the Exhibitor Fair where 2 Chainz (pictured above) and Juicy J will perform at the festival’s concert. But remember that this festival only runs for 10 hours – so get there early.
