Groudup Music Festival has the essence of a hardcore beach party but the vibe is way more chill, and welcoming to all ages. That laid back vibe means you’re not fighting tons of crowds and, get this, they offer masterclasses. What? Yeah, masterclasses and workshops. More on that in a second. It’s held on Miami Beach and this Miami scene is the one full of people dressed in Hawaiian shirts and beachy attire, listening to jazz music, under a canopy of string lights and palm trees swaying in the seaside breeze.
This three-day Groundup Music Festival has a set during the day and Late Night Sets which include performances from Grammy-award-winning jazz band Snarky Puppy, Madison Cunningham, Micheal League, Rachel Eckroth, and much more. What is the parking situation?
There is parking in the lot across the street from the North Beach Concert Bandshell and in several nearby public lots. A parking map will be available closer to the time of the festival.
What time do the shows end?
Festival sets usually end around 10-11 PM, while the Late Night Sets end around 2-3 AM.
Is there an age limit?
This festival is open for all ages! Fun bonus: kids under 10 years old are admitted for free!
What’s the best time to arrive?
Depending on the day, it is best to arrive around 1-2 pm based on their schedule to get parking and arrive early.
What can’t I bring inside?
No outside food or drink is allowed. No pets are allowed either (so you need to leave Brownie and Cheddar at home).
