Perhaps an unexpected stronghold of latte art, Louisville has rapidly been making a name for itself in the craft coffee industry. It makes sense, then, that Coffee Fest, a national B2B coffee event, sets up one of its four trade shows in Louisville each year. Also hosting events in Anaheim, Orlando and New York City, Coffee Fest unites retailers, roasters, coffee shop owners, and those aspire to be all of the above, from across Louisville. You need to take coffee very seriously since this event isn’t open to the general public. Coffee professionals or prospectives who aspire to be in the coffee world are welcome to enter the Kentucky International Convention Center gates.
Inside the festival, you can expect a cold brew sampling panel, a March Madness-esque latte art competition and access to over 120 hours of educational workshops covering everything from roasting to business operations. Attendees have the chance to meet local suppliers, network and expand their business (or learn how to start one).
